Greek jug

This still life painting of a beautiful Greek jug and clementine on oil cloth is an original and has been done using water colour/water color on good quality water colour paper and is signed by the artist. I stretched the water colour paper so that the painting is nice and flat and not buckled. It would make a nice double purchase with the fruit painting as they both share the lovely oil cloth back drop.

I just love this jug. I bought it on the Greek Island of Kalymnos and it's beautiful ultramarine blue goes beautifully with the deep orange of clementines.

I just about managed to paint this still life before my youngest (6yrs old) devoured the clementine.

The water colour paper measures approx. 11x16" (27.5x40cm) but the actual painting measures approx. 9x12" (23x30cm) and comes without a frame or a mount freeing up your own choice and preferences for framing. This item will be sent in the post with cardboard for protection.
